EDINBURGH TRADE UNION COUNCIL

The Edinburgh Trade Union Council represents the trade union branches in the City of Edinburgh (Scotland,UK). Together with three other organisations it runs the Edinburgh Trade Union Centre which provides a range of services to the local trade union and labour movement.

Edinburgh TUC, known until 1995 as Edinburgh and District Trades Council, has had an unbroken existence since 1853 (when we campaigned for workers in Edinburgh to get a half day off on Saturdays).
